It is a broad spectrum, systemic & post emergence herbicide recommended for use in sugarcane.

TIZOM has excellent translocation activity — absorbed by leaves & roots and moves upward through xylem & downward through phloem.TIZOM acts on essential amino acid synthesis & is a photosynthesis inhibitor of treated weeds.TIZOM provides long duration control with foliar and soil residual activity.TIZOM is safe to sugarcane crop and can be used at any stage of the crop.TIZOM has 4-hour rain fastness.TIZOM also acts through soil.
For effective control, apply TIZOM at 3–5 leaf stage of weeds.
Mode of Action
TIZOM combines two complementary chemistries — Halosulfuron methyl and Metribuzin — that together inhibit essential amino acid synthesis and photosynthesis in target weeds. Its dual xylem (upward) and phloem (downward) translocation ensures thorough distribution within the weed, while its soil activity extends control duration beyond initial foliar application.
