Description
Fax SC (Fipronil 5% SC) is a modern phenylpyrazole insecticide that effectively controls insect pests in rice, chili, cabbage/cauliflower, and sugarcane. It offers low-dose, highly effective control against a broad range of economically important pests.

Mode of Action
Fax SC controls insects through contact, stomach, and systemic action. Primarily an ingestion toxicant with some contact activity, it interferes with nerve impulse transmission by disrupting chloride ion passage through the GABA-regulated chloride channel, leading to CNS disruption and insect death.
